Chieti

About 20 km from Club Hotel Le Nazioni, Chieti can be reached in half an hour by car or train. Located at an altitude of 350 meters, Chieti is located in a place crossed by the ancient Via Tiburtina Valeria that reached Rome, at the center of important trade. Today the city is home to various crafts but also of studiesThe renowned Gabriele D'Annunzio University Campus is located here. 

What to see and events

Chieti has, however, retained an ancient heart, as can be seen from the monuments it hosts, especially those related to theRoman and medieval times.

The city's main street, Corso Marrucino, is home to the Baroque-style Church of San Domenico and the Marrucino Theatre, which hosts important events such as the annual Giuseppe Prisco Prize, a coveted title for sportsmen.

Another renowned event of the city, held every year in July, is the Mozart WeekThis is a time when the city wears the realistic clothes of Salzburg with concerts and shows related to the compositions of the famous artist, but also with dances, theatrical performances and parties in period costume that cheer the evenings.
